Do women actually play wow?

I been playin wow for a while now and I always wondered what the male/female ratio was. I think there's definitely more males than females. But im just wondering if there are any females at all that play wow?

And I'm not addicted, however I used to be.

    I think the census, among people who participated was 4:1, so four guys to every 1 gal.

    yeah i wanted 2 but i aint got no money but i played wrath of the lich king a while, but i stopped doing that cuz i was getting busy with my education

    Yes, there are. There are at least 4-6 that i know of in my guild.
