Hey, I need some help with my dodge neon 2002?
Hey ppl. I have a dodge Neon 2002 ES with 97,000 miles on it. Its a great car, a little fast. No modifications, except for window tints and blue headlight bulbs. The only problem I have with it, is that it is automatic. I want to start driving manual. Well I was thinking about trading it in for a manual replica of it. Around the same mileage, good conditions. Because I want to start modifying the car soon. But I'm not sure if I should. Does anyone have any ideas on what I should do? And anyone have any tips for modifying cars? =]
Also keep in mind the car is white, which is kinda whack..but w.e.
forgot to say, I put a new transmission at 95,000 miles.

if your wanting something to toy around with a manual transmission would be a lot better to deal with, you can up grade the engine in those to run pretty good for what they are,and you should be able to trade that one real easy with a new transmission in it,that was one of the cars major flaws ,was the transmissions going out so trading that one wouldn't be hard to do,don't let no one con you out of your car though, its still worth a lot so if you do trade don't give any money to boot because most car lots would rather have an automatic to sale than a standard shift car,but they don't like to trade even up,your car will be worth more than a standard shift car will be,good luck with it.

If your going to start modifying it, just buy a new transmission to put in it. This will help with your mods and if you get it geared right will make it faster.

get an aftermarket stereo
exhaust check out borla, magnaflow, flowmaster
B&M hammershift or rachet shift, or hurst autoshifters
get a sunroof installed
check out some rims
maybe tires as well
lower kits so the car sits low
