add valorum tax in NC?

hi. we are thinking of moving to NC. in GA there is a tax called add valorum. many states have it. is there this tax in NC too?

    Ad Valorem simply means "Based upon value." Virtually all real estate taxes are based upon the value of the property and all states have real estate taxes.
