ok, best type of beginner guitar is an acoustic, you can get it one for 80 bucks. play little kids songs like mary had a little lamb. you can read tabs instead of classical sheet music, which is alot easier. tuning for the strings are EADGBe low to high. buy a tuner as well for 20 dollars. picks are cheap too.

Do u want electric, bass or accoustic? depending on how old u are u may need full size ir smaller. U dont need to now how to read music when u start off as lone as u practice 30min every day and the easiest song to play is Zombie by the cranberries. its EM, EM, EM, EM, EM, EM, EM, EM, C C C C C C C C, G, G, G, G, G,G, G, G, D, D, D, D, D, D, D, D.
