i thought that the former miss.America was Miss.Texas. but last night that was not the miss.texas i saw last year and in the miss. universe compitition. not to sound mean but i thought she was black. isnt this her: and if it is then where was she last night? why did she crown the new miss.america? and WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MISS AMERICA AND MISS USA. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE EXSPLAIN THAT TO ME BECAUSE MAYBE IM JUST GETTING CONFUSED

Miss America and Miss USA are completely different pageant organizations, so each state will have a Miss State Name from the Miss America organization and another Miss State Name from the Miss USA organization. They are always different girls. Miss Universe is part of the Miss USA organization (currently owned by Donald Trump, by the way). Miss USA competes in the Miss Universie pageant, and Miss America does not.
