How do I solve this... Math Help!?
Question-
Teams will be given $5 per group member for each kilometer traveled, if they meet the requirements of the race. The requirements are that when all 3 members of the group add up the distance they traveled, the group must have completed as close to a total of 10 KM as possible. The object is for each member in the group to perform the same number of rotations on their given mode of transportation, and for the group as a whole to travel a total distance as close as possible to 10 KM. This means that while the number of rotations for each member's wheel will be equal, and the distance each member travels will be different.
Calculate the number of rotations each member must complete. Explain how you worked through this problem. Identify your calculations.

Each rotation causes the vehicle to travel a distance equal to the circumference of the wheel. C = π d and so if n = the number of rotations and d is in KM,
each car goes π d n KM.
So if d1, d2 and d3 are the three diameters, π (d1 + d2 + d3) n = 10
so n = 10 / (π(d1 + d2 + d3))
