What should I look for in a digital converter box for my analog tv?

Will the cheaper models work just as well as the more expensive models? Will I get the same number of stations regardless of the price?

Update:

Also, will it really make a difference whether I have an antenna or not? Indoor or outdoor?

    They're all the same. They just mark up the prices for the specific brands.

    just ask the seller that what kind of reciever you need for your tv.
