Well that would be absolutely awesome. I would love to see him make it a trifecta. Winning two in the same day is history but all three the same weekend??? Man that would be so sweet!!....He qualified 10th I believe so I guess he has a fair shot of it.

i think he's got a good chance, but it will probably take a misstep by jimmie johnson and maybe carl edwards as well because those two do SO well here in the cup cars. as bad as kyle whupped them today and last labor day in the nationwide races, jimmie whupped them in the cup race, and his practices are just as good this time around as well.

bottom line, i hope so, especially as i'll be there to witness it live in full rowdy regalia should it happen, but he's going to need some good breaks--even by his own account.

He certainly CAN. I remember a couple years back, he won the Truck and Busch races at Phoenix, the Cup race was the only one he missed. I hope he can get it this week, he seems to be the only driver even close to doing it.

Well it's a good possibility, but I'll be rooting against him because he's a Toyota boy, why didn't he show his talent in American cars instead of wrecking them every week?

I knew when Hendrick dumped him they were making a big mistake, and when they finally dumped Casey Mears they at last admitted it (too late).

Not if the third peat is in the Cup Series. So the boy can win the mini-races, wait until the cup race and see how excited everyone is then...

No the cup series is a different story. Different cars and a tire will blow out if he drives that fast in a cup car.

He could do it. He was running really well last week, if he didn't get caught up in the "Big One".

He can drive cant he.... 95 out of 100 laps led in the truck race.... i cant wait till tomorrow to see if he can three peat
