More impressive game, MJ or Kobe?

MJ

@ Cavs (42-40)

69 Points (37 FGA .622%)

18 Rebounds***

6 Assists

NOTE:

****18 Rebounds is more than Kobe's career best(15)***

Kobe at Staples Center,V.S. Toronto (27-55)

81 points, (46 FGA .608%)

6 rebounds

2 assists

Update:

LAL:

-Jordan shot .622%, including .913% from charity stripe.

-Jordan had 4 Steals

-Yes it went to O.T., but he also took 9 less FGA, then Kobe

Update 2:

LAL:

Lakers went 7-8, during that time. Which is better than the season winning %...So it wouldn't be beneficial on Bryant's behalf.

Update 3:

LAL: btw there's no beef intended. Your one of the few user's that will discuss basketball, without reverting to name calling. We just share differn't opinions.

MJ, because of no hand checking, and better overall stats. And Toronto had terrible defense.

You've got to also take some factors into this(Jordan did go into overtime during his career high game).

Kobe was shooting 61%, including over 50% from the 3-point line, shot 90% from the charity stripe, got 3 steals. Kobe's the only player who's got into the 80s zone..

I honestly don't care who played what team, 81 points is 81 points.

The team Wilt Chamberlin played when he scored 100 points, was 29-51

I also see in KING's questions that you say Wade got a better record with an undeveloped Odom+Butler compared to Kobe in 2005. You stated they were facts, well you forgot another fact:

229Time- You had forgotten to mention one thing, Kobe Bryant missed 14 games due to an ankle injury that season, meaning the Lakers didn't have Kobe for 14 games. Who knows what their record would be if he hadn't sprained his ankle? Let's not forgot he missed 2 more games(I believe it was back spasms).

MJ because when kobe scores big he can't get his team involve, Mj can. plus the Lakers at Knicks is a another example, he had like 3 assist and 0 rebounds i believe

Mj was most impressive by far

I might just be saying that cause hes "MJ"

MJ MJ MJ MJ MJ MJ MJ MJ MJ!!

Idk why anyone would choose Kobe coz ur comparing him to the guy who is, quote, " the best player ever to play in the nba."

23 - solid all-around performance. 81 pts is very impressive but compared to MJ's numbers, it's one dimensional

Jordan - 6 rings. Nuff said.
