    The formula is NaClO

    5 % by mass means 5 g of NaClO + 95 g of water

    moles NaClO = 5 g/74.4418 g/mol=0.0672

    Mass water = 0.095 Kg

    molality = 0.0672 / 0.095 =0.71

    What Is The Molality

    It would be .05mol/kg.

    Molality=mol solute/kg solvent, and because there is no more information given, you assume that there is 5% of a mole of bleach dissolved in 1kg of solution, and therefore the molality would be .05mol/kg.
