Since you already realized that peer pressure is a huge topic, you may want to just concentrate on one particular issue: drugs, alcohol, sex (just to list the most common issues). If you were to pick one of them, then narrow it down even further by limiting your paper to one gender, one year of high school (as in juniors e.g.), and then to just one specific issue, like making fake IDs to obtain alcohol or tobacco, or pressure to provide the "proof of love" by having sex. Whatever you do, pick something you are interested in, because that will make the whole journal keeping easier. Good luck.
