Ricky was most ineffective in IPL. KKR was probably relieved when he went home.

I just heard KKR manager on TV. He has not heard anything from Ricky or any other foreign player about withdrawing till now.

Ricky havs a tight schedule ahead inlcuding the Ashes which we all well know that it's a very important tournament for Australia team, few new young guns are joining and looking forward to join Ricky for the ashes test in England, so that's one of the reason why Ricky step back from IPL.

I dont think it has got to do with jealousy or anythign like that Ricky isn't that type at all, he already have bulk of dollars in his bank account and is a very well of.

Ricky Ponting has other things to worry about, such as the Ashes and the rebuilding process of his team. Since he is the captain and senior member of the team, he needs to lead from the front by saying that he needs to rest his body.
