I would never own or buy a red car,------why, you tell me why?

It might be because you simply don't like it without a need for explanation. It may also be because you don't like common things or what most people like or to call too much attention, or simply because you don't like red.

I also wouldn't want a red car and it's because I don't really like red .

It's a false assumption that red cars attract the attention of the police more than any other color. That may have been true in the 50's and 60's when only sports cars were painted red. But it certainly doesn't hold water today.

Every manufacturer offers 2 or 3 shades of red on all their cars. There are so many red cars on the road, they blend into the landscape, rather than stand out.

Police and Highway Patrol look for tuner (boy-racer) cars first. They're on the prowl for them since most of those drivers are speeding or driving erratically. Next is yellow. The eye detects yellow before any other color. So they naturally stand out.

There are those who just don't like red and would never buy a car in that color. But mostly, people say it's a ticket magnet. And those people are 40 years behind the times.

Its a Police magnet.

And we might say similar for Orange, Yellow, Purple or other sorts of day-glo tonka colors

thats funny i was thinkin that today haha my favorite color is red but i think it looks cheap on cars and trucks,(im a truck girl) i prefer yellow or white cuz it shows all the dirt and that you can have fun lol especially with muddin.
