Can a divorced person convert to the Catholic religion?

    Yes. I was divorced when I converted.

    You need to be chaste (not living with someone) and/or not remarried.

    If you are remarried or considering it, you need to get an annulment from your first marriage. Talk to the Church about the procedure. They can get that started while you start RCIA classes.

    Yes. You can call a local Catholic church about enrolling in RCIA.

    Edit: RU486, the Catholic Church does grant annulments to Catholics who meet certain requirements. It is also permitted for married couples to live separated.

    Any catholic will drag you into their religion, don't forget about the almost everything is a sin part of it and church and no sex before marriage and the ten commandments oh and the devil and coughing up money for the plate every time you go to church........ im sure i am missing something oh yes an individual opinion, they are not big on that,
