Anybody else ever used www.restaurant.com to purchase coupons? Great deals!?

Yes, I have. I often get $25.00 certificates for $2 or $3 and $10 certificates for free. I purchase through Upromise so a portion of the money goes to my goddaughter's college fund. If we eat at an Advantage Dining restaurant we also get United Airlines miles. Its win, win, win all the way around.

I have actually bought about 5 gift certificates from restaurant.com. I bought them at 80% off. I spent less than $10 for $25 off coupons. I will be using them in the near future. I have a year to use them.

I used them awhile back. Be sure to call the restaurant first and make sure they take it! I used a certificate I bought from restaurant.com and it caused confusion among the staff. I had to keep explaining that even though it was a print out, I had already paid for the gift certificate. They eventually took it, hence it was a good deal. But, if the restaurant doesn't accept it, you're out of luck.

Even though I have checked it out a couple of times, we have not actually used any. If I could get my husband to take me out once in a while, it would probably be worth it. But since he has me as his "trophy wife" I will just be sitting on the shelf along with the other "cherished" things in his life.
