what's the oil capacity for a GMC 6.0 liter?
It's a 1982 GMC C6500 C7D042 Truck V8 gasoline engine. It saysV8 7000 and a sticker on the air filter housing says 6.0 liter engine.

Start with your Vin number to Identify your engine just to be sure whats in your vehicle. I am not sure if an 82 gmc had a 6.0. I have a 02 GMC HD pickup with a 6.0 and it holds 6quarts>
