Why do the Phoenix Suns suck so badly?

There game plan is set-up for failure. The run-n-gun style is not going to make you a great team or even a good team. They don't play any defense and turn the ball over a lot. Offensively they have good players, but what's the use if you can't stop anybody or play in the half court.

Reminds me of my favorite team, The Dallas Mavericks. Along with the Suns, they used to be like almost unbeatable, but they just lost their potential to win, and the talent they used to have. Trades, players are gettin older......Personally, I think they shouldn't have fired Coach Mike D'Antoni. He was a good coach.

big time agree. it was even worse when amare was at center because big men would routinely torch him for season bests. it's marginally better now that he's at his natural position of PF, but it's still atrocious. he's always out of position, picking up silly fouls, and the like. he gets a blocked shot here and there, but only because he plays a little weakside help and likes to spike those balls out into the 6th row of the stands. it looks cool, but its deceiving in that his defense isnt even below average; it's flat out horrid.

I'm a SUNS fan, I DONT THINK THEY SUCK but I do Admit that their not really that good anymore. WHat they lack is a FORWARD amare whos injured..sure they have great players but whos gonna defend tim duncan, kevin garnett ,pau gasol ?? matt barnes? hill? they needed a pf so badly. ONE more thing is that its not about how great ur players are but its more about CHEMISTRY.

they would win more if they gave the ball to Shaq more some say he is getting old but when he gets the ball he is still too big and strong for anybody. and they don't have Marion anymore so that makes a big difference

never should have fired there coach he was getting the type of style he liked it was going well he got j rich he was gonna trade amare for some halfcourt style they would have been better but now you have shaq and j rich running fastbreaks lol

No Amare. Shaq and Nash are too old to lead the team. They are decent they just arent what they used to be. Time to move Nash and Shaq.

they don't suck. it's just that most of them are getting old Shaq, Nash,etc. and can't perform like they used to
