UCSD, UCSB college life?
I've been accepted at UC San Diego (Muir), UC Santa Barbara, UC Riverside, CSU Northridge, CSU Channel Islands, and CSU San Diego. And I'm waiting on UC Irvine, and UCLA (doubt ill get into that one)
anywhoo, ive applied as undeclared for all these schools. so i cant really choose which is best for my particular major. im aware that the ucs are "better" than the csu's but my parents are set on me going to csun. how is college life at these schools? particularly ucsb and ucsd? tell me about them and which you think is a better pick (i want to know more than what is offered on each of the school's website)
Thank you :)

I'm a senior too. I got accepted to UCSB. I went down there to check out the campus and stuff it's really nice. The cities a nice side and just really nice all round. They have a cool down town center with lots to do. The campus is nice. The beach is there. Looks pretty cool.
Not gonna lie though. UCSD was my number 1 choice but i got rejected =[. Idk why UCSD was my number 1 choice probably because of all the BJJ gyms down there
Anyways there both really good schools. There both ranked in the top 100 universities in the United States.
UCSD - 35 or 38 i forget
UCSB - 44

I would recommend requsting another catalog if the school really interests you.....Im not sure which school UCSB is (sorry) maybe they have special acholorships and club section in that book that is the difference between to two catalogs? If there is a difference in tuition costs. That would be illegal and discriminatory. A lot of colleges do that because they feel to send a catalog that "features" all blond haired/blue eyed students may discourage some african american students who may believe they would feel out of place and uncomfortable on campus and so ouldnt apply. By sending a "black catalog" it's the school's way of saying "sure we have black poeple" (lol). It's weird I had gotten so many "different" catalogs when I requested catalogs. Even som of the HBCU's (historically black colles and Universities) have a different catalog for potential students that aren't black. But I'd say go with your gut...if the school isnt that special to you, I wouldnt waste any time to even bother doing applications and campus visits. Good Luck to you and I widh you the best in yur College years!!! : )

Go to UCSB, it's the best. Laid back. Beach. party school.
But only if your a balanced person you have to get your school work handled and many freshman get caught up in the party scene.
