no and you have probably lost your deposit and the item - I didn;t think anyone did layaways anymore and certainly not for more than 3-6 months

I am an avid shopper and have never heard of a lay-a-way of more than 90 days max. Usually store policies afford customers the opportunity to acquire money back w/a cancellation fee.
Store credit isn't afforded to a consumer unless it is requested and within their lay-a-way time frame.

Read the fine print in the agreement you signed when you first put the items on layaway. It's probably all spelled out there.

You have 90 days to claim your merchandise if you do not pick it up you do NOT get your money back
Use to work at Wal Mart in the Layaway Dept

probably not check the contract's fine print you signed with the store.It should spell everything out for you.
