98 BMW 528i All service records but has high mileage. Should I do it?

I'm going to look at a 98 528i, 154K with all the service records for 4800.00. looks new in photos and from what I am told. Also has new tires it sound like the owner took care of it. Is 154k extensive miles for this car? should I beware of anything? I have seen others with less mileage but they have trailer hitches on them w/ trany problems or will cost 2000 more. The question is I finally found someone with all the service records but the car has more miles than I originally wanted. should I be concerned about the mileage?

I am used to Chevy Trucks and I would by one of those with 154K and have. Of course I plan to give it a complete physical

its never the miles you look at but what shape its in at the time what you do is type how to check used car and get a check list to follow and this wil help you find problem it might have that would keep you from buying it with the right car most cars can run into the 400,000 range both of my car now have over 300,000 so 154 has a lot left to live check the shape its in then decide learn what to look for when buying used and if you look at any of the check list mileage not on them it means little to what shape one is in really you can find a car with not many miles but drove at drag strip on weekend and be junk.. and sure anytime you buy one you should give it a complete service job but learn how to check one before buying wil save you many years to come really easy to know the signs
