IPL shift decision is political?

Anyone noticed..... All 4 states denied IPL security are congress ruled, while states who did not denied security are non congress ruled.

Update:

Do you think if BJP would be rulling in the center, they would let IPL go ahead?

it is all political, congress govt does not want the chance to take up security for both elections and IPL, lest anything goes wrong. it is better safe to decline the cricket tournament than to affect the elections. But it has partly back-fired, with the opposition trying to woo nationalist cricket-lovers and blaming Congress as the cause for the domestic tournament to be held in foreign lands......

    It is practical, not political.

Only 4 States answered. That too, not a proper yes.

Like Punjab said " if security is provided by Center".

    edit:

Sure you will read the names of 4 States somewhere. I think 2 were Maharashtra and Karnatak. Forget the fourth.

No BJP state said they would allow IPL. Guj offered after the announcement of shift.

This part is political. Shifting was practical.
