So you're looking at remote lines obviously. All remote lines will have an on/off at the tank and a quick disconnect at the marker which clips to an adapter screwed into the ASA. The remote lines with a slide check essentially have another on/off at the marker side. This will allow you to degas your marker without having to reach behind you (or wherever you put the tank) and degas the entire line.

All remote lines have quick disconnects but not all have slide checks.

The Slidecheck goes in between the remote line and the quick disconnect. You slide the collar over on the fitting to stop the airflow when you disconnect your remote line at your gun while still connect to your air source.

Every remote line has a quick disconnect. Some remotes are offered with the slide check installed. You can always add a slide check to a remote line that does not have one. For the most part, all the fitting and lines are universal. There are some exceptions to that point. But for instance, a PMI slide check will fit a Tacamo remote line ect...

the slide checks just pretty much save some a little bit of air because it is an on/off switch, but i would highly recommend getting compressed air before you get a remote because co2 will mess the coil up because of the extreme cold and it leaves residue.

a a quick disconnect is used when you arent hooked up remote, where as a slide chech is crucial for remote use. get a slidecheck when you get your remote man, and have fun
