Microsoft Word hidden toolbar?

my microsoft office word toolbar is gone-not the additional ines, the main one with the options file, view, help that one-the main one...where di it go?

    press alt

    and i belive the one with VIEW is the one she cant find tofus

    Here's how to get it back:

    1. Press ALT/V followed by ALT/T. A menu will pop up.

    2. Select Customize at the bottom.

    3. Click the Toolbars tab.

    4. Select the “Menu Bar” item in the list box.

    5. Click the Reset button.

    6. Click OK for the verification dialog box.

    7. Click Close.

    Hopefully, that will do it.

    On the menu, click VIEW / TOOLBARS and tick the box STANDARD

    dumb ***, it isn't deselect hide ribbon, its unclick minimize.... just got done arguing with the lady about this.... then realized it wasn't her that was lacking a brain....
