What do people think is in heaven?

Heaven is a magnificent place, streets are made of gold. But the real reason it is magnificent is because God is there.

Nobody is good enough for Heaven, that is why God sent His only son. God took the wrath deserved to all those whom believe in Jesus and poured that wrath out on Jesus. If you are blessed with faith in Jesus, then when you are judged, God will see the righetousness of Jesus, not your sins.

If you believe in your heart Jesus died for your sins and God raised him on the third day, then you will have eternal life. The first sign of being saved is the blessing of faith in Jesus. If you have been saved, then you will begin to see changes in your life. Your desires will change. Read the book of 1 John, it is filled with the marks of a true Christian so you can look for these marks in your own life as you grow as a Christian.

If you are tempted to kill someone, you have sinned already. Consider Jesus' words from Matthew 5:22 (ESV) "But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, 'You fool!' will be liable to the hell of fire."

The laws of God show us that we all need the grace of God because without it, we all all "liable to the hell of fire" as Jesus put it.

Trust in Jesus to provide you with salvation!
