THE IMPACT
Nonnative species in the pet trade encompass virtually every bird, reptile, amphibian, fish and a number of mammals (e.g., hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, ferrets) commonly kept as pets. It is immaterial under HR 669
This bill is a step toward complete removeal of pets from our homes
Though cats are currently on the the accepted list they can be removed, Banned. Then no more pet cats BO-WO.

I called and others have to call there local congress man/woman and oppose HR669.
Do not e-mail as e-mails will not be answered, phone calls must be made.
Give 3 reasons why this bill should not pass, there very easy to come up with.
Millions of dollars a year will be lost and who knows the amount of jobs, like we need more laws and unemployment in this country.
And to hippy, tree hugging Ken we don’t need people like you in this country, go to Russia where you have no freedoms…

Are you aware that
Virtually all fish in an aquarium are not native to the United States
Most pet birds are species not native to the US
Most reptiles kept as pets are not native to the US
Hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs and ferrets are not native to the US.
This bill would personally and financially devastate millions of pet owners...Plus destroy an entire industry that contributes millions of tax dollars to the US economy.

H.R. 669 will make it illegal to breed and sell many animals that are very common in the pet trade.
YEAH!!!!!!
I support any bill that will stop breeding of animals for sale
