How do you know when you're in love?

First of all, there's not ONE love, there are many kinds of love

There's love for my mother.

There's love for my father.

There's love for my sister.

and then there's a romantic & lustful kind of love.

That's when you see or think about someone and you get butterflies in your stomach. That's when you are attracted to someone. Many people say they are "in love", but many times what they feel is just very strong biological sexual attraction.

Then there's a second stage of love, when you're long time (a few years) with someone and you're attached and deeply care about the person.

When you're in love, you'll know because you'll start doing crazy things you never did before.

I think love is when you want to spend the rest of your life with a person,, have their children, etc, you overlook their faults and try to take the good with the bad. Of course, it depends on what the faults are, but you know what I mean.

I totally agree with what your saying, when people just go out for the sake of it and say they love them.

But im 15 too and I think im in love..

I think your in love when youd die for that person.
