This Reminds Me Of Dale Earnhardt's Flip In The 1997 Daytona 500.

OMG that was totally unexpected, even the commentators were like whoa!!!! I didn't realize he had flipped until they pointed the severe damage that was on the joe's roof and then the replay. Lol that was one of those "I'm Ok" moments once he was right side up. Man the fans and the crew were giving joe his props when he drove it back to the pits. Nicely done, im glad he is ok. First flip of 09 baby!!!

I had to Tivo it, as I went to Angels & Red Sox game. I just watched the entire race, Wow that was awesome, Front Row Joe still has the skills, car was messed up big time and he wanted to keep going, he's a total racer. Way to go Joe.

I was there. That wreck happened right in front of me. But it sucked because I only caught the tail end of it as I was watching Logano and Busch battle for the lead. I didn't even know Nemechek had flipped until I watched it when I got home lol. All I seen was Stenhouse come toward the wall right in front of me...I guess I missed it since Nemechek just kept driving as if nothing happened. I heard a little boom and that was it.

All I have to say was that was Freakin Amazing. Totally Awesome!

NASCAR should allow him to finish! Though the roof flaps are pretty much messed up and the roll cage is dangerously bent up.

All in all Glad he is A-Okay!

That was a nice piece of driving there, going have to put that with McMurray drifting through turns 3 and 4 at Vegas.

There are 3 things I have been on a pretty long "Quest" to see personally. They are:

A game-winning NBA buzzer beater

A side-by-side Cup finish for the win

A NASCAR flip

I can check one of them off today.

That was one of the coolest things I have seen this year in NASCAR. Nemechek should have been allowed to finish the race just by how he was still able to keep going after flipping his car over.

I saw it. It had my jaw dropping. I liked that after he saved it off the wall, he kept on driving. Too bad NASCAR didn't let him finish, but I can understand why. Too many parts could have fallen off the car, leading up to another accident.

I guess NASCAR has a "Roll-em' Joe" to go along with their "Sideways Sam"
