I Need Help With The Story "Paul Revere's Ride"?! Please D:?
Hey :)
I have this homework assignment (pretty big) on Paul Revere's Ride...
I have to;
- Read the story

- Answer the text book questions
- Two (pretty big packages!)
> 4-ish pages each.
Help!
(Just a summary, pleasee :D)!
PS: I know for some it's weird I'm asking on a FRIDAY but where I live there's school tomorrow :|!

What you need to know is that Longfellow's poem is not entirely accurate.
Also that there were two other men riding to give warning about the British.
Also that Revere was apprehended by the British, who told him to go home, and he did.
Also that Revere's sideline was art forgery.

Because people take out of it what they want to put their political spin on it, to suit their political agenda. (It is called taking words and extracts out of context.) Much like that scriptwriter, Michael Moore, does when he strings together bits and pieces to get the results he wants in his movies. Now you can see how gossip gets started because every time someone repeats something, it gets repeated in a different way because of other people's views and prejudices, and their lack of understanding of the meaning of words and the english language.
