White Sox - Cubs Trade Possiblities?
I'm a White Sox fan, and I've been thinking about the White Sox center field situation. That got me to thinking: realistically, what would the White Sox have to trade for OF Reed Johnson of the Cubs? Thanks!

They would definitely give the starting job to a prospect before they would make a trade, that's just how they are.
But if they were to trade for him, they would probably give up a couple prospects, probably one being a relief pitcher, since the Cubs bullpen is a little shaky.

I am also I big sox fan
They wouldn't because they already have many people within their organization
1) They have Brian Anderson and Jerry Owens
2) The Sox recently signed Scott Podsednik to a minor league deal if #1 fails
3) Worst comes the worst... they could move alexei to center and bring up beckham

I hate quoting ESPN, because I despise the Network, but from ESPN "The Cubs might not want to use Johnson often in 2009, but they might have to, accounting for the health risks in Alfonso Soriano and Milton Bradley."
Not going to happen, they need the extra Outfielder. You are going to have to live with BA's excellent defense and bad offense.
