What herbs can be used to treat PKD?

Because it may be genetically inheritedd , what can be done to improve the condition?

    There are no herbs or supplements that will cure or improve PKD. The only things you can do are to control your blood pressure with diet, exercise and drugs if needed, eat a lower protein diet, limit sodium/salt intake and see your doctor for blood tests and checkups at least once a year. As the disease progresses, you will need to see a doc more often. I wish you luck. I have known about my PKD for 30+ years, and I had a kidney transplant 3 years ago. Take care of yourself, and don't fall for herbal supplement claims. There are many herbs that are NOT safe for kidney patients, and you can end up doing harm to your kidneys if you don't have a doctor's supervision.
