Can you identify this coin?
I was given this coin at work, apparently whoever ran it through the till thought it was a 10p piece. I'm wanting to know where it's from.

Definitely a middle Eastern Muslim country, but NOT Saudi Arabia.
It's hard to tell for sure (your image is very blurry), but I think it's actually from Iraq.
Have a look at this image and compare. It's not the same coin (it's an Iraqi 250 Fils coin from 1970), but the symbols are very similar, especially the date style and the "corn and leaf" symbol:

The year of issue of your coin is 1979. 1979 and 1399 are actually the same year - 1399 is the year in the Islamic calendar, whereas 1979 is the same year in the Western calendar (called the Gregorian calendar). It's common for coins issued in Muslim countries to feature the year in both formats.

i've got accrued money for 40 two years, and that i've got the comparable difficulty specifically situations. a image might help, yet that isn't help to respond to your question. there are a number of tokens and/or different products which would be seen "money", yet they won't truthfully fall into the catagory of "coin". i won't be able to declare for particular with no image, and won't have the capability even then, yet that would desire to help. Sorry i won't be able to help extra, yet i want somewhat extra documents. i do no longer understand of a internet site that lists an incredible form of money, tokens, and exonumia.
