little white lie's ?
Christians, do you think it is okay to tell a lie if it is just small, it does not hurt anyone, and you are protecting the interest of a good friend.
For the sake of love is it okay for me to lie for my friend and then later repent about it, in prayer to Jesus?

No way. If you have a huge life or death dilemma, I can understand the temptation to lie, we all face that sort of thing. But a "little white lie" means to me that is something not very important. We should not lie in any situation, but it sounds like you want to lie out of convenience or something. It is a sin, and it is why Christ died.
When you overcome the temptation to lie and are honest, you will grow in your Christian walk. God Bless

them little white lies can turn into big white lies, watch out. but If you lied you should confess and explain the reason to your friend as well as Jesus
