My 10 month old daughter went swimming and after, she had some red bumps on her chest and red nipples? Help!?
We went swimming the day before and her bathing suit was a little wet, could it be from the suit? It doesn't seem to hurt her, but it worries me and it's the weekend, I will be going to the doc if it doesn't clear up!
It was in our pool, no one uses it but us. Her little nippes are really red and it's scary. It doesn't seem to hurt her at all, so I don't want to rush to the emergency room, but I'm a worried Mom!

If it's not bothering her, you really don't need to worry about it. We have a little Rash Boy (meaning, he gets a rash for EVERYTHING - the last one was a full body rash from head to toe that ended up being from allergies) and you just have to learn to let it go away on its own. It could easily be a mild reaction to chlorine, or to having a damp suit on - it causes friction, which can cause a little rash. One thing you can do to prevent it in the future is use something like Aquaphor on the area before swimming, which will help protect the skin.

Was it in a pool or the ocean? Is it sea-lice? Could the swim suit have rubbed?
I think a trip to the doctor if you're worried is always a good idea.

it could be the swimsuit, or it could be the chemicals in the pool water, your best bet is to take her to the doc
