Question about turtle/tortoise? plz answer or u die?

How do you tell if it's a she or a he?

You named it Teerex but calls it a she?

Better name it Kotex, then you can call it a she....HAHAHAHA!!!

1. No lah, try putting into freezer.

2. You actually ate the pellet ar? Try use the plier to open the turtle's mouth and then push the pellet down it's throat. If it still doesn't want to eat, you cook and eat it lor.

3. Use acid la.

5. Marinate it in soy sauce for 2 hours, put into hot oil and fry till brown, dip into sauce and eat while it's hot....HAHAHAHAHA!!

I just bought one too. 2 months old. Sooooo cute. Mine eats minced carrot, lettuce but his favourite is pellets. Mine also did not want to eat when I threw the pellets in the aquarium. I don't know why. Maybe the eyesight not too good since it's still a baby... or he is just manja ;) So I held one pellet with my fingers and put it above him. He bit it from my hand. The shop fed him like that so I thought I tried it and it worked. Remember to break the pellet so that it's smaller/shorter... easier for "baby" to eat.Don't worry the bite won't hurt you. Anyway, you should let yours get some natural sunlight but not directly under the scorching hot sun. It's good for her especially her shell. That's what the shopkeepers told me. If you want to keep her indoors all the time (no sunlight) you need to buy a special light. Ask the shop. They will tell you more. When you change the water make sure you leave some of the previous water inside and mix with the new water coz the new water from the tap may have too strong chlorine for the turtle. That's what the shopkeeper told me also. There's a special liquid in a bottle that you can buy if you want to be sure she's free from chlorine. I didn't buy it. One tiny weenie bottle costs S$35 ! Gila ! I can buy 7 turtles with that money. Maybe you can find cheaper ones but I decided to do without it. My turtle is ok without it.

I leave mine at my balcony. So he's growing happily... and so handsome. His name is Fradin. Maybe one day our turtles can get married and we can be in-laws ;))

My Teerex is now six months, and takes a goat every second day. When it was small (I bought it on the market for RM5, just hatched from the egg) a chicken every other day was sufficient. Fish also ok but needs much bigger quantities. I suppose I will have to go for kerbau soon, or every other day a lorry full of fish lah.

Water? Mine likes wallowing in the mud, never cared about chlorine.

I can't let mine walking outside, the other day it ate the neighbour's dog. No sign of dehydration though...

5 - actually a rather nice pet, you can teach your Teerex tricks like frightening off your parents in law, keep your neighbours at bay, eat Along etc...

If water has chlorine you can pour a lot of water in a container and just let it set a couple of days and the chlorine should work off.Try getting some flies & put in for it to eat. Being out of water for a little while won't hurt it. Keep rocks for it to climb up on. Now i answered i can live and not die! Thank you.

1) tortise is not a mammal so it won't die of coldness

2) LOL you taste it? anyway just give one piece of the small pallet, if it don't eat don't give anymore just leave that one piece there, when it is hungry then it will eat, now sudden change location and it is alone sure sad and don't want to eat, a few more days than it will surely eat, when it start to eat, feed one by one so that you know how many pallets it eat, so next time give only that amount

3) no need lah, the best use Diamond filtered water

4) OK lah, last time my aquarium half of it is only sand sometime it crawl up and stay there for quite long time

I just dumped mine into a see-through plastic aquarium, put a couple of pebbles inside (for them to climb onto) and fill up with about 1/2" tap water initially (which I gradually add as they got bigger).

I feed them tortoise food pellets. They must have eaten (though I never saw them ate!) cuz they are now about 5" long & have since outgrew their aquarium. I put them in the fish pond, but they killed some of the fish. So, now I just put them in a large plastic tub and leave them outdoors. Occasionally, I give them some kangkung.

So.....this means I live???

i thought i give you my tips liao? dont on air conditioner but room must got sikit kelembapan then feed it with your mouth :D use what aver water that is GOOD. torttle very easy to take care. checkout a turtle on source ;p not easy to take care also,
