Would my mum's big tree frog eat the little frogs?

She bought a new tree frog and she has it it one of those plastic bug containers so the big frog won't eat it. Would the big frog eat the little one if he thought it was food?

Update:

Thanks for answers but I think little froggy can stay in the bug container until he's a bit bigger. Better safe then sorry.

Yes, it would eat it. If it can fit in its mouth, then the frog will eat it. Regardless of whether it's a frog, insect, or even a mouse.

I stupidly had a small tree frog and a dumpy frog living together when I was young. Then one day the small tree frog disappeared. The only place it could have gone is the bigger dumpy frog's mouth.

nope. for the most part, *all* frogs are completely carnivorous. usually, the tadpoles of most species will eat algae +/- aquatic insects, but the adults are generally strictly predatory.
