How do I work Facebook?

go to your profile & you'll see the profile picture box in the upper left corner. click on it & you can add a picture and create albums. You can also upload videos from there

To start with, fill in all the information you want to. This should be part of the "getting started" bit.

Join your network

If you want, you can import your contacs from your email and c if they have facebooks.

There is a little toolbar at the bottem of the screen that will always be there. Thsi is what I'm covering now.

To upload pics, click the little photo icon on the bottem left corner of your screen. then, up at the top right, it should say "create a photo albumn." click it, and follow the steps from there

Videos are the same, only click the video icon in the bottem left.

Your chat is on the toolbar in the bottem right, as you get friends, it should show you the number of people online, next to a green circle and the word "chat". click on the persons name you want to talk to, and then you can just type your messages to them there.

Next to the chat, there is a little sign-looking thing. Click it, and it shows you updates that deal with YOU. like people commenting on your stuff, or accepting a request, or whatever.

At the top, there's a dark blue bar with the words "home, profile, friends, and inbox" these are link to those four places. Your home page will be explained below. your profile is what your friends see when they click on your name. "Friends" takes you to a page where you can view, manage, and organize all you friends. and Inbox is your mail.

On your home page, the upper right section below the search is your update area. It shows you if you have friend requests, update, or invitations to do stuff.

The things in the middle, little updates and stuff, are just things your friends are doing. they show up all the time.

to the left of that are some quicklinks, which just help you get around faster.

To the right, below what is labeled requests, there are "suggestions". these are just people you might know, or groups you may want to join..

Below that Is usually a sponsored Ad...I ignore these.

Below the ad are highlights. These are usually things like "john smith addaed a photo album" or "ashley parker is single." Basic updates that are "significant" lol

Under highlights are events like birthdays, Free Hug day, etc.
