    About 300 million

for a 747-8, John B dont know squat.

When the 747-400 first came out, the stated selling price was $230,000,000.00 (two hundred thirty million US dollars). It would be more now.

You can buy an old tattered 747-200F for a few hundred thousand dollars.

Source(s): let's not start all that again, okay? Let's just say I have some background with 747s.

Leasing one may be a better option.Google "Lease 747" and you might also find a purchase price.

$100,000 will get you a gutted one in great condition.

it's tough getting a straight answer out of a bunch of pilots ain't it. notice you rarely hear "i don't know" from us egotistical jerks. lol. having said that, i read recently that one is being outfitted for the royal saudi family. final cost estimated four hundred mil.

That would be a question for the Boeing Corporation.

I don't think you need to worry about that... Paintballboy
