What is taught in first year physics at University?

    General physics for science and engineering majors will be taught as mechanics in the first semester and electricity in the second. Engineering and physical science majors will need to take a calculus-based course. Also, there is a third sequence you will take if a physics or engineering major which is an intro to quantum mechanics course.
