I am making a short film for a broadcasting class and am needing help finding a good jazz song for the opening scene. It takes place in a coffee shop.

It would depend on the time period the film is based in...you wouldn't want to play the theme from shaft in a movie based in the 40s!

Minnie The Moocher by Cab Calloway. Grab it off YouTube and make the coffee shop as a front for a speakeasy
