I think Roger has just as good a chance as anyone else still in the draw, but he's not playing his best tennis right now. He's managed to come up with the wins in the end, but to go 5 sets with Tommy Haas? That had my eyebrows up the minute I saw it.

Some of the other players that seem to be making a solid run right now are Monfils and Roddick (who hasn't dropped serve yet). I can't wait to see that match. Davydenko is making a surprising run. Not because he is in the second week, but because he is playing such commanding tennis. I was amazed at the way he dismantled Verdasco. We can't count out Del Potro or Tsonga (another must see match today). Fernando Gonzalez is having a great run, and will be very tough for Andy Murray.

It truly is anyone's to win. I personally would love to see Federer hoist the cup this year. It is his best chance of winning it, and would be a great way to match Sampras's 14 with the one trophy that eluded even the great Pistol Pete.

If there was ever a better chance for Fed, this is it. But man he has to be really feeling the pressure now. The whole universe is practically expecting him to complete his career grand slam and tie Sampras' record. With Djoko and Nadal losing it is almost eerie how the GOAT red carpet is being layed out for Fed to walk on, he just has to deliver now. Also the fact that if he wins the French he has a chance to break Pete's record at Wimbledon is liked a script out of a movie. I can already picture it: Sampras, in break of Wimbledon tradition, hands Roger the Wimbledon trophy signifying that there is a new GOAT. I get chills thinking about it. Oh yea, he would have to play Nadal of course and win 10-8 in the 5th set!!!

I hope so, he deserves to lift the remaining trophy to add to his cabinet. It won't make it any less of a victory just because Nadal is out though. A win is a win. Nadal losing there was going to happen sometime, and it did last night.

I think the perseverance of Roger is now paying off...it was good for him not to say anything that could hurt others in the previous years and now he has nothing to do but win....i think the key here is for Roger to be humble and not let the celebration get into his head sooner than it should...he should pray hard and work his way to his 14th slam...Vamos Roger!

you must not be a serious tennis fan, or you Love Roger Federer like I do.

On this note, if Federer beats Gael Monfils in the Quarters tomorrow, then he will hoist the cup.

Get ready for the finals,Roger Federer Vs Andy Murray.

It would be good if Fed-ex wins,he would improve his record on clay.

But Murray is also going great.

    Let's see what happens.

EDIT:Oh man!now Murray is out too!Soderling Vs Federrer!

Yeah, i hope he can go to the finals. He has to play del Potro, which he is a really good player. I hope he plays well against del Potro and beats him so he can try to win the French Open.

i really hope so, fed deserves it, how peRFect would it be for him to win his 1st french open and his 14th grand slam next sunday.

im sad that nadal lost at the french, but i knew it had to happen some day.

even nadal says he wants federer to win the french open this year :).

u forgot about philipp kohlschreiber, the person who upset djoker in straight sets. he's the man to watch as well. federer should not be too confident as well and stay focussed.
