Why does Adobe Premiere CS3 keep crashing when I render a video?
I created a video comprised of over 100 different clips. It's 30 minutes long. It's over 60,000 frames. Whenever I try to export the video in AVI format, Premiere logs off after 10% completed.
Do I need more RAM? I have 2gbs.
Thanks.

If you are using Vista then I would say YES. Video editing takes a much RAM as you can throw at it.
After that start looking for other reasons if it keeps crashing.

Make sure nothing else is running. It could instability from having too many applications running. Are you overclocking? The faster CPU speed may cause stability problems. 2GB should be fine; it sounds like a CPU stability problem. Kill all other applications and rerender.

i think you need more ram. i tried to render video and i have 2gb of ram (i have premiere also) and it froze once.
i also think you should try exporting it in other formats and see if it works then- try exporting it in mpeg4 or wmv
