Translating help! I don't trust google. . . .?

I need the Spanish words for...

peanut butter (would it be mantequilla de cacahuate?)

semi-sweet chocolate chip

powdered sugar

thanks!

Update:

oh, and I know that taza is cup but do you still use that same word when you mean cups for a recipe?

Update 2:

it's ok if I don't use metric stuff, my Spanish teacher doesn't understand metric anyway :)

but one more thing....I also need to know how to say trash bag. I know just trash is basura....

y azucar extrafino in spain is azucar glass

tu tienes muchas preguntas jeje ( you have many questions)

peanut butter -> mantequilla de cacahuate o de maní

powdered sugar -> azúcar (m) (británico) glas or (español de España, español de México) de lustre or (español de España) flor or (español de Chile) impalpable (RP)

Semi sweet chocolate chips -> pedacitos de chocolate semi-dulce

No one who is spanish would understand cups. I'm English and I only understand metric and our imperial system. Convert cups to metric measurements, then they will be internationally recognised.

1 US cup = 236.588237 millilitres (ok so milliliters in American English)

a millilitre is a "mililitro" in spanish, which is masculin.

Peanut butter - manteca de cacahuete [not mantequilla].

    Powdered sugar - azúcar extrafino.

I cannot help with your chocolate chip translation - sorry.
