How does one receive "stars" here in Yahoo Answers?

HOW TO STAR A QUESTION

1. On the home page or on a category page, you may click the blue, inactive star under each question.

2. You may also click the blue, inactive star on the question page, beside "Interesting!".

3. Once you click it, it will turn into a yellow, active star.

HOW TO "UN-STAR" A STARRED QUESTION

- Click the yellow, active star. It will come back to a blue, inactive star.

Note: Stars have no equivalent points.

If someone finds your question interesting they give you a star. They might want to come back later and see the answers you get. If you have starred questions under "Starred Questions" tab that is questions you have starred. You do not get points for stars. Hope this helps!!!

If you ask a question that someone is really interested in and they like that type of question then they will give you a star for asking it.
