Why is Answers better than just Googling or looking up the answers online?

People come here because they

want to get a variety of answers

Google doesn't have that

Google only send a person here

Google is a search engine

along with email

and youtube

Yahoo Answers offers fun

and points

Both google and yahoo answers

a person learns things

but its more enjoyable

in here.

For the most part, it's not better than Google. Some people just aren't computer savy and don't think to use Google, or just don't understand how to do an effective search. Using Google is certainly quicker than posting the questions here. And sometimes, people might even get a better answer here from others who may have had the same problem.

It might just be a matter of not knowing how to search. I prefer to search myself. The only time I asked about locating something was because I was not successful in finding it on my own, so I had to ask. Sadly the answer I was seeking took longer than anticipated, but it did work in the end.

You will get more personal responses on this site. I mostly use it for my hobbies and I love the personality that I get in every answer

My thing to. I think its a waste of time to even answer it because 10 other people answered it correctly. I guess it could be laziness.

I also dislike the questions: "Can you put an outfit together for me" or asking if they are pretty. Its rather annoying
