Question about fluoxetine?

I recently started taking fluoxetine for depression and I'm scared that it will cause me to gain more weight. If I gain more weight I think I'll be even more depressed. So I guess my question is does fluoxetine cause weight gain? or does it some-what help you lose weight? I'm not using this as a diet pill or anything I'm just wondering

    I've been on and off of it - never had weight issues either way -

    I think if you're careful with your diet, you should be ok. Sometimes people expect to lose or gain weight, and do so just because they expected to...

    I do find that it's hard to lose weight while on it... but it just takes more discipline.
