I have Magic Jack & love it, no hidden costs!
You can now buy from Walmart or Radio Shack just in case you decide you want to take it back is so much easier than dealing with a website.
You do have to have a high speed or broadband internet connection.....I have mine thru my cable company.
& you do have to leave your internet connection on in order for it to work. I always unplug my MJ & shut down my computer at night.
Costs $40 at Walmart/Radio Shack (same as online) & that includes the MJ & your 1st year of phone service.
You do have to have phones. I have a base unit at my computer then I have the extension in my bedroom. You could use a phone system with more extentions if you wanted.
Works great but it is best if you answer your phone to quit working on your computer. Keeps a better connection. Can be quirky at times but for $20/yr what the heck!
