It all depends on who has the piercing. If it is on a trashy girl, it will look trashy. If it is on a classy girl it sometimes can look cute.

im a girl and i think girls do it to get attention to the guys if they get it done at an early age
idd think its better if you get it when your older so its not so sluttier idk thats what i think
idd get it maybe when im about 17 or 18
but i hate them i think there disgusting and scard someone would pull iy out
