Can one go abroad to study linguistic anthropology?

I'm from India and I'm doing BA anthropology, but here they concentrate on physical, cultural and social anthropology, and don't pay much attention to linguistics, but I want to be a linguistic anthropologist and no university in my country seems to offer such a course, so would I be eligible to do a pg course in linguistic anthropology from any of the universities in US and other european countries and what would be my job prospects and how can I make myself ready for such a course. One more question are anthropology students eligible to do MBA.

I don't know about Europe, but in the US, very few universities that offer advanced degrees in anthropology offer a specialization in linguistic anthropology. My large university doesn't even offer any courses in linguistic anthropology. I think that linguistic anthropology has been absorbed by linguistics or communications departments at a lot of US universities. Most US universities also concentrate on social/cultural, physical and archaeology.

As for a MBA, anyone with a Bachelors degree (and good grades, etc.) is eligible to do one in the US. It's very common to do a MBA regardless of your undergrad area of study because it makes you very marketable to a lot of employers.

it would not matte what you considerable in, it concerns what activity you get. you will have a level in anthropology yet basically get employed as a lab tech and could paintings in a lab all day. on the different hand, you may nicely be a head researcher or study assisstant and get to commute somewhat often.
