Liberals. You call Palin many nasty things?

and accuse her of anything you can invent. How come you never question people like Hillary Clinton when she claims she was shot at by a sniper, then later admits she lied?

Update:

Blue: There was nothing passive aggressive about it. I'm honestly curious as to how the Demolemmings can joyously point out the failings of Sarah Palin, yet see nothing wrong with the delusions of Hillary and others in their party!

Update 2:

There you go Muhammed. Defending an avowed liar. Don't forget, she's also the one who claimed a "Vast, Right-wing Conspiracy".

Update 3:

Count: I never said Palin has never lied, you made that accusation. Don't confuse yourself with your own rhetoric.

Update 4:

Paul: Thank you for your honest opinion. However, you sign yourself as something other than a liberal and my question wasn't aimed at your particular leanings. Obama may, indeed be re-elected. I fervently hope not, as I believe that what he is doing is leading this country to economic ruin.

Update 5:

Aizenald: I didn't mean to imply "I'm right, you're wrong", I asked an honest question. I heve never tried to back Bush 100%, as I know he certainly isn't the brightest penny in the roll, but do believe that he, too, was a victim of bad information. And yes, I do say bad things about Obama, as so many of you say bad things about Republicans.

Update 6:

Also to Aizenald: Please don't start on cheating, etc., as there are many instances of the same thing on your sde of the aisle.

As for growing up, I'm 60 and put childhoods things away many decades ago.

Update 7:

Josh: At least you are honest in your answer, not blindly supporting someone just for being a member of your party.

Update 8:

Aizenald: I could have a ball debating back and forth with you. You do not fit the mould I have dubbed Demolemming, as you (and Josh) have yet to resort to childish name calling and insults. I'm going to be hard pressed deciding which of you I will give the 'Best answer' to, but it will be one of you.

Thank you for your honesty and candor.

Update 9:

Josh: One final thing. While Palin is certainly no genius, she wasn't the one who stated that he believes we now have 57 states. That, to me, puts Obama in the same boat as Palin.

Update 10:

aizenald: One final thing. You comment on (my) maturity. My wife and I have been raising our ten year old grandson since his birth. We live in the country and there are no children around for him to play with, so I am his playmate. Forgive me if I seem immature to you, but one has to sacrifice some maturity when one is the sole playmate of the immature.

Update 11:

Patriot: Thank you for that correction

Josh: Is it just possible that Palin makes off the cuff comments during her interviews, while Obama's interviews are carefully scripted? I don't need an answer, just something for everyone to consider.

Thanks to all for your input, I'm going home, to bed now.

Conservatives. You call Obama many nasty things and accuse him of anything you can invent. How come you never question President Bush when he claims there are WMD's in Iraq, then later admits he was wrong (claiming he was given bad intel, when it's just as possible he lied). (Insert more examples of socially conservative politicians cheating on wives, accepting bribes, corruption, etc.)

I don't like Sarah Palin because I disagree with her views on pretty much everything. No, it's not right for someone to just call her stupid or bimbo or whatever, but can you honestly claim you've never called a liberal politician names?

There are good and bad people from every part of the political spectrum.

At the risk of sounding cliche'...grow up. What I'm hearing from you is, "If you agree with me, you're good. If you disagree with me, you're bad."

    EDIT:

    Replying to your replies:

It's not an honest question, it's a rhetorical statement designed to criticize your opponents. If it's an honest question, then you must be ignorant of human nature. Immature people hurl insults and lies about people they don't like; this happens on both sides of the aisle.

You said: "Please don't start on cheating, etc., as there are many instances of the same thing on your sde of the aisle."

That's my point EXACTLY. There are bad people on both sides.

And as for growing up, age and maturity are often related, but they're not the same thing. You can be 60 and still ask inane, rhetorical, immature questions.

    EDIT2:

For the record, the name "Demolemming" really makes me giggle.

    Take care.

I am a liberal and I totally questioned Hillary Clinton when she said that. I will question any politician on either side who is caught lying. That is part of the reason that I supported Obama over her in the primary.

As for Sarah Palin, I certainly question her as well. And I also call her "nasty things." I can understand how someone might agree with conservative views, but I can not understand for a moment how anyone could support someone who seems as uninformed, ignorant, and just plain stupid as her. Sorry if you're a supporter.

    In reply to your comment:

An accidental misstatement (as dumb as it was) and regularly not being able to construct a coherent sentence are two entirely different things. Good try though ;-)

Hillary didn't get elected President - there might be a reason for that.

I don't call Palin nasty names, but I do think she lacks the education, brain power, and ability to make wise decisions necessary to be the President of the United States. If she runs in 2012 I predict a landslide victory for the Democrats. The Republicans might want her to run as a kind of "sacrificial lamb" if they know they don't stand a chance but if they are smart they will choose someone else.

    Btw: I'm a moderate.

We do question them. Hillary Clinton is a proven liar. Barack Obama has lied too. ALL politicians lie. So there you go.

Do you have enough courage to admit about your people what I just admitted about mine?

Yeah that's what I thought. But you sure do talk a tough game don't ya tough talkin "courageous" conservative?

EDIT- You never said Palin did lie either. THATS MY POINT!

  • At least she admitted she lied. Sarah Palin never admitted she's dumber than a 5th grader.

Edit: Nah, I'm not defending Clinton. I'm just stating out the facts. Admitting your mistakes or shortcomings is very important.

Palin should stop deluding herself and her ''following'' and come out and admit she has too many shortcomings to be the President of a nation like the USA.

That's your job. You guys go after Democrats, Democrats go after Republicans.

As an independent, outside looking in, its pretty pathetic to watch average people, on both sides, whoring for politicians who don't give a **** about them.

Good point. http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2008/mar/26/hillar... Though to be fair, she was torn to shreds over those claims. (Actually, lets tell the truth, those lies...)

That's what we have the GOP for. Nice passive aggressive question, btw.
