Ovarian Cyst Maybe? Need People With Past Ovarian Cyst Or Recent Ovarian Cyst?
I feel no pressure when I pee of have bowel movements.
I'm 21 years old and I think I have an ovarian cyst. My doctor did a blood test on me (for my thyroid? so he said anyways) A pee test for a UTI, He checked for my appendix and that is ok. A ultrasound which I took today but I missed my pap smear.
I skipped the pap smear because well, I'm gay and I've never had anything poked up there at all (no penetration what so ever). And he constantly told me, even though I'm like this I need to do it anyways to make sure for cervical cancer. Hospitals scare me, and well I'm..just shy. I will take one eventually..I just wish it wasn't when I'm so tensed right now and worried.
Anyways, for the past..I don't know months...This started probably a month after my gallbladder surgery which was 7 months ago and I started getting weird cramps when it wasn't even time for my period. My mom kept telling me over and over again that it's issues dealing with my past gallbladder surgery (scar tissue healing, etc.) I accepted it and went on with life. Probably a few months went on and I began to notice that I was VERY tired during my period, would get sudden ill feelings from time to time (very rare though), began to get weird jabbing like pains, like a throb that would come and go on my right side..I was very uncomfortable where my ovarie was and I was SO tired..I've never felt that tired my whole life. Anyways, I told my mom. Still she repeated the same thing over again and I just pushed it aside. But this time she kept saying it was probably something that I'm probably going to have to put up with for the rest of my life because I would have this issue a little bit before my periods and then they would quit after I was done with my period.
Few months later went by, and then it hit June (Last month) I went through the same ordeal like every time. I was really tired, felt like something was swelling? at that time, causing the pains or 'jabs/twinges' Went on with my period around the 20th, did it's normal cycle and quit and I felt fine. Though after this period something different had happened.
After a week after my period in June I began to cramp along my lower abdomen, like sometimes they were very dull and other times they would cause me to lay down they were so bad. The pain would wind up around my lower back giving me back pains, and sometimes it would hurt on my sides. After the whole thing I feel like someone has just beat the crap out of me and just laid me there to suffer due to the cramps/jabbing pain/being very tired.
I took a pee test and the reports came back negative that I do not have a UTI. Blood tests I haven't even heard about so I'm not to concerned about that. But today I did the ultrasound. I'll get the results in a few days but I guess I'm just scared that I have something sever like cancer or something..But I have a good feeling that it's just a cyst because cysts run very strong in my family..which sucks because this means that this may not be my last...
Also I want to point out that I've been cramping straight (Since my last period around the 20th of June give or take and this happened a week after that) for the past 5 days now, off and on. Again sometimes they're dull and sometimes they get to the point where I have to pop some type of pain reliever like ibuprofen and I'm fine and feeling nothing.
Periods: My periods start around the middle of the month (around the 20th, give or take a few days off or a couple of days sooner.) My periods go on for about 4 days, two or three being heavy and then i'm super light on my fourth. I've never skipped a period so far, I've never had two periods in one month. So far my periods have been really normal
Questions:
Any ideas? maybe some comforting words?
Also, what exactly do doctors do to help this issue?
If surgery is needed is there anything I have to worry about? Every ones told me since i've done gallbladder that this should be really easy for me.
THANKS! I'M SORRY THIS IS SO LONG...I'M A VERY DETAILED PERSON :'(
No pressure with I pee or BM's
